This includes performing critical account reconciliations, preparing adjusting entries, and generating timely, accurate financial statements and supporting reports for management.</li> <li><strong>Compliance &amp; audit:</strong> Prepare necessary documentation and actively support internal and external financial audits, ensuring regulatory compliance and responding to auditor inquiries.</li> <li><strong>Mentorship &amp; guidance:</strong> You'll actively mentor and guide members of our finance team in accounting best practices.</li> <li><strong>Financial analysis &amp; integrity: </strong>Conduct detailed account reconciliations (e.g., bank, intercompany, balance sheet accounts) to identify discrepancies and maintain the integrity of financial data, contributing to reliable financial reporting.</li> <li><strong>Process optimization &amp; controls:</strong> Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, systems, and internal controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data security within the financial function.</li> <li><strong>Supporting strategic financial initiatives:</strong> Assist in various financial reporting, analysis, and ad-hoc projects, providing reliable financial insights that support overall business objectives.</li> </ul><p dir="ltr"><strong>Success factors</strong></p><ul> <li>Minimum 8 years of similar experience, preferably from the software industry and/or IT consulting services, with a proven track record of independently managing the<strong> full cycle of accounting</strong> operations.</li> <li>Comprehensive accounting experience in accordance with laws and regulations in Sweden (K3), demonstrating responsibility for all aspects from transaction processing to statutory reporting.</li> <li>Solid experience with preparing and analyzing financial statements, and accustomed to thorough reconciliations of balance sheets and income statements, as well as complex intercompany transactions.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in <strong>independently </strong>preparing and submitting annual reports, corporate income tax returns, and other statutory reporting to Swedish authorities (e.g., Skatteverket).</li> <li>Strong command in spreadsheets (
