Job Summary

This is a temporary full time position for 6 months.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Entry and Analysis Specialist. The primary responsibilities of this role include accurately entering and cleaning data, matching supplier data with our internal database, and performing data-related tasks using JW Pepper's internal systems. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Excel, including VLOOKUP and basic formulas/functions, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a passion for maintaining accurate and organized data. A background in music is highly encouraged for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate data entry and data clean-up tasks
• Match supplier data with internal JW Pepper data to update pricing, discounts, and Publisher ID information.
• Create, execute, and export queries to accomplish data-related tasks.
• Upload spreadsheet data into internal systems while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Utilize Pepper's product entry system to make manual updates as required.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and address data discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all data-related tasks.
• Assist in creating and maintaining organized databases for easy access and retrieval of information.
• Contribute to the improvement of data entry and analysis processes.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and basic formulas/functions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and address data discrepancies.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate data.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate within the team and convey data-related information.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A background in music, whether educational or professional, is strongly encouraged.
• Previous experience in data entry, analysis, or similar roles is advantageous.
