Description
Howard's Pool World is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to join our team in Lake Suzy, FL. The Administrative Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the administrative team and supporting the daily operations of the administrative department within the pool maintenance company.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a background in managing office staff in a service-oriented environment.
Pay rate: starting at $22.00/hour
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of administrative staff, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assign and delegate daily tasks, ensuring proper workflow and timely completion.
- Monitor staff performance and provide training, coaching, and support as needed.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to review goals, challenges, and department updates.
- Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Oversee the creation and management of customer accounts, service schedules, and billing records.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained across all administrative tasks.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of administrative databases.
- Identify inefficiencies in administrative processes and propose improvements to enhance productivity and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll, invoicing, and other financial reports related to the administrative team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative or supervisory role, preferably in a service industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office Suite), and familiarity with industry-specific software is a plus.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and related services is a bonus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work well in a team and foster a positive and productive work environment.
