MongoDB is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join the fast growing Center of Automation team under Business Systems. The individual will be responsible for helping automate and integrate the existing portfolio of SaaS applications in use across business partners (NetSuite, Salesforce, Coupa, Conga, Concur, Xactly, etc) using the RPA tool UiPath. You will help our partners reduce barriers to scale, freeing up time from manual and routine tasks to deliver on valuable initiatives.

This role can be based out of our New York City office or remotely in North America.

Who you are

  • Professional with 3+ years of experience in configuring, developing, testing and deploying UiPath robotic process automation (RPA) technologies
  • UiPath Advanced Developer Certification: should be expert on UiPath standards in regards to structure of automations and scalability
  • Understanding of workflow-based logic and hands on experience with RE-framework to build multi-bot architecture based automations
  • Understanding on how to expand the base UiPath toolset through scripting
  • Knowledge of industry-specific standards on OCR and working knowledge on Computer Vision, Document Understanding, ABBY
  • Domain knowledge of manual processes surrounding Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report and Applicant-to-Hire and opportunities for automation
  • Results-focused individual who is able to execute on mini-epics to automate manual processes whilst keeping business and systems partners informed and engaged
  • Deep knowledge of debugging and exception handling in UiPath
  • Experience with Agile project delivery methods, tools, and concepts
  • Basic programming/scripting knowledge on VBA/VB/Java/C# script is a must
  • Strong understanding of REST and SOAP API’s with experience in building integrations via third-party applications (e.g. Boomi, Mulesoft),NetSuite, Coupa, Successfactors, and Salesforce APIs 
  • Knowledge of relational databases and data management (SQL, XML, JSON) with appreciation for system interdependencies
  • Knowledge of data security with understanding of PGP, SSH, OAuth, HTTPS, SFTP
  • Experience with version control and environment deployments using tools such as Github and AWS.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate technical aspects to cross-/functional partners including Legal, Security, Finance, Internal Audit 
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or 3+ years of equivalent practical experience

What you’ll do

  • Partner with contributors and business systems to collaboratively complete project work and deliver timely and complete solutions
  • Lead system and user acceptance testing and deliver training
  • Provide post go-live support for automation and integration solutions deployed
  • Work alongside with program management and/or SME’s on project prioritization and process documentation
  • Define system technical requirements and write clean code according to the specifications
  • Deputize cross-environment changes - updates and hotfixes, deployments, scripts, and configuration
  • Produce reusable scripts, packages and workflows that can be implemented into a universal reusable library to make future developments more efficient
  • Provide insight into improvements and modifications for existing code and frameworks in order to enhance both legacy and future automations
  • Assess and provide guidance for onboarding new applications from available API’s to how they fit into the internal landscape and support authorized sources of truth
  • Provide compliance, SLA and support metrics, and ad-hoc reporting

Success Measures

  • In 3 months you’ll have an understanding of the current internal RPA team processes and the roadmap. You should also be able to start picking up automations/work on your own and able to talk to end users throughout the project lifecycle
  • In 6 months you will be able to design and develop strategies and recommendations for a phased UiPath-enabled solution roadmap that accounts for standardization on architecture, migration, and security
  • In 12 months you’ll have been able to make recommendations on attaining a strategic enterprise-class integration and automation platform that significantly scales barriers
