If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you.  We are currently seeking a Downstream and Sustainable Energies Delivery Manager reporting directly to the Head of Country, to join our team based in Houston, Texas.

Purpose:

The Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing project execution and driving new business across Practices for the Downstream and Sustainable Energies Markets. She/He has both Win-it and Do-it responsibility. This is an external facing role that builds a trusted and reliable relationship with Clients, as an internal facing role that builds strong teams and oversees excellence in execution. This position focuses on project developments that range from Petrochemical and Refining plants, to LNG and integrated gas, to sustainable energies facilities (Blue and Green Hydrogen, Methanol, Ethanol and Ammonia, biofuels, DAC, power to X, and new green markets. Developments include both greenfield and brownfield initiatives with big focus on value improvement and sustainable solutions.

Role Responsibility:

• Responsible for meeting the Order Intake KPI which is a segment of the required Global order intake 
• Establish line of sight of, and develop the opportunity pipeline through early engagement for the downstream and sustainable energies markets
• Work with heads of market and commercial leads to identify accessible market, key and strategic clients, and targeted project opportunities in alignment with the Genesis strategy
• Support Business Development campaigns to grow and diversify Genesis market footprint and Client base
• Build Client relationships and improve Client intimacy, understanding of drivers / challenges
• Manage team utilization, team performance, and team development to ensure business success
• Sponsor studies/projects/tenders, supporting study managers and consulting team in their delivery; or assign suitable sponsors and track progress
• Responsible for the successful execution/ delivery of projects along with client satisfaction
• Accountable/ responsible for opportunity commercial strategy, including preparation and delivery of competitive proposals
• Accountable for the Project profitability executed within the assigned project portfolio 
• Accountable for ensuring purchase orders/variation orders are in place to cover all work completed for the Client
• Develop and maintain an awareness of competitor’s capabilities. Monitor market pricing and competitor activity.
• Provide leadership to a team of Study/Project Managers, ensuring strong engagement and motivation of the team, focused on results 
• Collaborate closely with Local Resource Coordinator to ensure target utilization, effective project staffing and target profitability, with utilization of Global Delivery Center in execution
• Collaborate closely with P&C teams and Local Resource Coordinator to ensure a proactive approach to development and retention of talent within their team
