Job Summary:
TriNet is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM (Fusion Cloud) Architect to join us as we establish a new team post our migration over to Fusion Cloud. In this role, you will provide Functional Design, oversee technical design as well as provide Architectural guidance on several projects related to Oracle Fusion HCM portfolio for the enterprise.
Key contributor in designing, configuration, maintaining, and supporting Oracle Fusion HCM Applications, infrastructure, and roadmaps. Will also function as the primary technical liaison between all teams on the program to facilitate technical discussions with vendors, partners.
Responsibilities include:
Understand Oracle Fusion HCM’s functional capabilities (Core HR, US and Canada Payroll, Absence, Time & Labor, Compensation) very well which includes features, configuration as well as all end-to-end perspectives within Oracle Fusion ecosystem. They are the go-to person for any future feasibility analysis within Oracle ecosystem and responsible to define future state roadmaps within the Oracle Fusion portfolio.
Responsible and Accountable for Oracle Fusion functional design working with Business SME / Business Process Analysts per defined requirements.
Responsible and Accountable for new Functional Design specifications, updating configuration workbooks, as required, based on the design.
Responsible to oversee the technical design within these areas.
Responsible to test capabilities as part of any development before handing it over to business.
Responsible to work with Oracle on critical SRs, product enhancement requests etc.
Conduct brown bags, training sessions for internal team member and help them ramp with Oracle functional expertise.
Reviews the Quarterly Patch artifacts and suggest areas for testing as well as work with business leads to finalize what new features TriNet can use / leverage going forward.
Will own Tier 3/4 type of production support issues, any SEV1 issues and drive towards resolution.
Performing research on emerging technologies to support proof-of-concept (POC) capabilities and identify future solutions for the organization.
Required Qualifications and Skills
5+ years as an Oracle Fusion HCM Solution Architect or Lead Functional Analyst role.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
In depth knowledge of Core HR, US and Canada Payroll, Absence, Time and Labor, Compensation within Oracle Fusion HCM which includes business process knowledge, Configuration, working with technical teams on any RICEW objects related to reports, Fast Formulas etc.
In depth knowledge of Payroll to General Ledger integration.
Knowledge of Bank transmission set ups as part of Payment processing.
Knowledge of any of these modules: Recruitment, Talent Management, Learn, Helpdesk preferred.
Working Knowledge on OTBI, Fast Formula, BIP preferred.
Handled analysis of Oracle’s Quarterly Patch and driven teams to do proper regression testing based on that.
Ability to utilize discretion and independent judgment to switch between priorities quickly without affecting quality or performance.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Experience with project management and/or practicing Agile.
Advance-level knowledge of Oracle technologies
