Our team embodies our values daily, to surpass client expectations, evolve constantly and nurture genuine relationships for the long-term. </p><p></p><p><b>Job requirements</b></p><p></p><p>As a result of the growth of our Portugal team, Aptia has exciting new opportunities for Senior Pension Payroll Analysts to join the Specialist Operations Team in Portugal.</p><p></p><p>In this role, you will support the delivery of a high quality payroll service to clients and customers.</p><p></p><p><b>With full training and support from the UK team, here’s what you’ll be doing: </b></p><ul><li><p>Completing payroll reconciliations and reviewing payroll controls</p></li><li><p>Monitoring the quality and accuracy of payroll administration and reconciliation for designated schemes to ensure all payrolls are run on time and to cut-off schedules</p></li><li><p>Authorizing payrolls to ensure the BACS (Bankers Automated Clearing System) payments are submitted</p></li><li><p>Ensuring all team members are fulfilling their responsibilities in accordance with deadlines such as PAYE (Pay As You Earn) and payment of pensioners in accordance with Trust Deed and Rules</p></li><li><p>Identifying errors, risks and taking corrective action, ensuring member responses are dealt with in a timely and professional manner</p></li><li><p>Maintaining a low level of complaints and E&amp;Os, controlling overpayment of pensions and ensuring documentation is completed in a timely manner   </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Here’s what we’re looking for: </b></p><ul><li><p>Previous experience working in payroll environment, preferably at supervisory level</p></li><li><p>Strong numerical ability and analytical skills</p></li><li><p>Computer literate in MS Office and payroll software</p></li><li><p>Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently</p></li><li><p>Logical approach to problem solving</p></li><li><p>Ability to follow processes, deadlines and organise own daily tasks as well as those of others</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you can expect</b>:</p><ul><li><p>A group committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which embraces and respects differences, because it recognizes that only a diverse and inclusive environment creates the conditions to be prepared for a constantly changing world</p></li><li><p>This role will provide you an exciting opportunity to learn about the processes at Aptia, whilst allowing you to grow and develop your knowledge within a pensions setting and growing team</p></li><li><p>Benefit from the support of exceptional Learning and Development tools as well as training and peer mentoring</p></li><li><p>A flexible work environment as our company strongly values work-life balance</p></li><li><p>Competitive salary &amp; discretionary bonus</p></li><li><p>Meal Card</p></li><li><p>Private medical Insurance, single cover with option to add dependants</p></li><li><p>Pension scheme and life assurance</p></li><li><p>Complimentary coffee and fresh fruit in the office</p></li><li><p>A dynamic workplace and team, with fresh perspectives, innovative thinking and passion for success</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Please apply with your CV in English.</p><p></p><p><b>How to apply</b></p><p></p><p>If you are interested in this role, then we’d love to hear from you.
