Product at Morning Brew IncThe product team at Morning Brew Inc consists of product management, engineering, and product design. Morning Brew Inc is based in New York City but this role is remote-friendly for all candidates.
OverviewThis role offers a fantastic opportunity to have a truly meaningful impact on the audience growth of the Morning Brew Inc brands and to help the organization leverage a treasure trove of first-party and behavioral data.
You will play a crucial role in driving the growth and engagement by being the Product Manager for our Audience team and Data & Insights team. You will also prioritize the Data & Analytics Engineering team’s work which is often the driver of those two stakeholders’ needs.
This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication, project management and planning skills, a deep understanding of data analytics and audience development strategies, and data and growth tech stacks. Experience in a subscription environment is not required but will give you a foundation for early success. You’ll provide excellent stakeholder management as well as partner cross-functionally with our incredible Product team.
You are a curious and decisive thought partner who will identify growth opportunities and experiments, leverage and evangelize data insights, and implement features that enhance user acquisition, user engagement, and core product performance.
You will report to the SVP, Head of Product. 
Here’s what you’ll be working on: - Deeply understand and evangelize Audience and Data & Insights teams’ needs and Data & Analytics Engineering capacity to ensure alignment on near- and long-term priorities and initiatives. - Partner with the Audience team to execute on- and off-platform strategies to expand audience acquisition, engagement, and retention.- Work with stakeholder teams and Data & Analytics Engineering to define and track KPIs, and use these insights to inform product decisions and optimizations.- Perform data-driven A/B testing and run experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize user experience and increase LTV.- Define and prioritize year-long and quarterly roadmaps in partnership with SVP, Head of Product and Executive Leadership Team that balance stakeholder needs with other business objectives.- Create detailed product requirements and documentation that guide the development of growth- and revenue-oriented features.- Expertly communicate and present key growth metrics, learnings, and progress on initiatives to stakeholders and Executive Leadership Team.- Spearhead procurement and transition on and off of third party platforms that support our team’s needs.
Qualifications:- 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably within media or subscription-based businesses.- Strong understanding of digital KPIs, audience development, marketing operations & data tools (i.e. Iterable, Hightouch, Snowflake, OneTrust, Heap), and growth marketing principles, including SEO, content strategy, and user engagement tactics.- Demonstrated experience in using data to inform product strategy and feature development, and experience with A/B testing and experimentation.- Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into easily digestible information, especially for n
