Job Description

This role is based in our San Francisco or Mountain View location. 

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Monetization Center of Excellence team within our Strategic Finance organization. In this pivotal role, you will be the primary liaison between our Monetization Go to Market Strategic Finance teams and the Center of Ops Innovation – COE team to drive operational excellence and innovation on scalable processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to own and drive complex workstreams end-to-end. You will be tasked with identifying opportunities to streamline existing processes, partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders across Strategic Finance, Central Finance, and Center of Ops Innovation teams to build a scalable headcount and opex COE, and innovating on ways to improve headcount and expense forecasting and reporting. Over time, this work could also include identifying ways to streamline our reporting of bookings/revenue across GTM Strategic Finance. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Build & lead a high-performing team focused on streamlining the GTM Strategic Finance team’s processes for forecasting and reporting headcount and expenses. 
  • Work across GTM Strategic Finance to identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and/or innovate new ways to bring operational excellence to improve the rhythm of the business. 
  • Act as primary liaison with the Center of Ops Innovation – COE team, ensuring the needs, use cases, and process improvements of GTM Strategic Finance are well-understood and in alignment with broader business goals and needs. 
  • Collects feedback and input on process improvements from key stakeholders, anticipates obstacles, and leverages expertise to form impactful recommendations and drive implementation of solutions.s 
  • Drive alignment on recommendations by synthesizing problems and communicating points of view to support decision-making on strategic issues 
  • Lead development of scalable workstreams, projects, or operational processes to drive continuous improvement and consistency across teams in alignment with 
  • Foster an environment of excellence and inclusivity within the team, providing mentorship and actionable feedback in alignment with the culture and values of the organization, including people development and diversity, inclusion, and belonging. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 8 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience 
  • 5+ years of experience in the technology industry 
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines 
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $146,000 to $237,000. 

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
