Job Description

AECOM’s Energy practice provides a wide range of services from consulting and engineering design to energy engineering, energy procurement and construction (EPC) for power, energy efficiency, and renewable energy clients. Our understanding of the big picture – and the interconnection between generation, distribution, storage, and the demand side of the meter – allows us to deliver holistic strategies that improve and modernize next generation energy infrastructure. We connect knowledge and experience across our global framework to bring together a unique combination of engineers, planners, scientists, and project managers who advance cleaner, secure, and more sustainable energy solutions. 

We are currently looking for a Program Management Sr Director with a specialty in energy programs  to join our team, leading on some of the most complex capital infrastructure programs globally.  You will initially lead on a number of strategic energy pursuits, moving on to lead the program upon successful award.  The Program Management Sr Director will be located in either Los Angles, CA or New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Leading and overseeing program management aspects of strategic energy pursuits
• Leading a very large energy program, characterized by high risk-reward ratios, complex execution requirements, and significant strategic importance.
• Serving as the driving force within the organization, providing technical leadership and strategic direction for program delivery on a global scale.
• Holding ultimate accountability for the overall financial success and delivery of AECOM's Program Management agreement.
• Promoting a culture of ethics and safety, ensuring the well-being of our workforce remains a top priority in all operations.
