Duties of Lead Teachers include:
- Meeting the individual needs of the children
- Lesson Planning
- Communication with parents
- Participation in staff and training meetings
- Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
- Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
- Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
- Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff

Job Requirements
Teacher Qualifications:
- Professional & Kind Attitude
- 2 years of prior classroom experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Strong written and communication skills
- Lead teacher requirements as outlined by the Department of Education of Virginia
- CDA, bachelor’s degree, or higher in early childhood education.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vienna, VA 22182: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Childcare: 3 years (Required)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
