Job Title:   Procurement Specialist

Job Summary: 

EMCOR Facilities Services seeks a Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist performs all procurement-related tasks and duties necessary for the cost-effective procurement and performance management of goods and services in support of the Kimberly-Clark account portfolio. This includes continuously reviewing and optimizing sourcing for subcontractors and materials, establishing and managing strategic partnerships with suppliers, and ensuring the right agreements are in place and vendors meet minimum requirements to support Kimberly-Clark’s IFM goals

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Plans and executes selective supplier development actions including select face-to-face sessions. Executes supplier management tasks to drive quality, compliance, schedule and cost performance, including but not limited to facilitating key supplier steering team meetings and supplier KPI Metric Scorecards.

Manage the RFP process for the selected trades or commodities.

Ensure all vendors supporting K-C account are compliant with ISN requirements at time of onboarding and auditing during steady state.  This might include helping/training vendors in the registration process.

Works within cross-functional teams in transition, development and execution.

Participates in supplier capacity reviews and approves supplier selections.

Assists in training, coaching and on-going mentorship of account teammates needing a better understanding of procurement strategy and execution.

Assists EFS team in maintaining K-C supplier information within supplier database.

Supports regional supplier councils and may attend a trade event.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education (HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.)

BS/BA degree in business, supply chain management or related field

Business Experience (prior years’ work/related experience)

Minimum five (5) years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management with high customer service requirement.

Knowledge of facility maintenance equipment and services.

Licenses/Certifications

CPM preferred

Computer Skills

Software experience Microsoft Suite, ERP Systems (JD Edwards preferred).

Language Skills

English 

Written and Oral Communication Skills

Total Cost Modeling, demonstrated knowledge of sourcing/procurement activities and formal Transition processes required.

Experience putting together RFP's and negotiating price.
