Ambu is currently looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager to join our Global Supply Chain team, based out of HQ. We have an approach based on mutual flexibility in the working set up with the opportunity to work up to 2 days from home if aligned with business needs.

 

Improving and optimizing processes will be part of a much bigger opportunity; from simply optimizing a process to maximizing its capacity to execute across the full Supply chain from manufacturing to end customer delivery!

 

Key responsabilities 

In this position, you will play a key role in driving projects in the function, ensuring business is running at full capacity. You will work closely with the VP of Global Supply Chain, collaborating with other department heads to drive and facilitate cross functional alignments. You will also make and drive communication across the global Sales entities. Most importantly you will be the owner of our brand-new Shared Service setup in Penang, Malaysia. Ypu will also support the VP with ad hoc tasks, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

 

Two days will most likely not look the same, however your key responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of SC performance management and ensure daily tracking for proactive follow-up before delivery challenges hit the market
• Overall Responsible for Global Supply Chain communication to the market
• Responsible for the operations Supply Chain Shared services in Penang, Malaysia, including development of process and optimization across Order Entery and supply chain support
• Through the Shared Service ensure optimal customer delivery performance and order transparency
• Take the project manager / project owner role of cross function Supply Chain project related to Customer deliveries
• Act as the liaison between Supply Chain and Ambu’s global Sales organization
• Daily and weekly performance reporting to the VP
• Ensuring alignment across the Supply Chain functions (Planning, Distribution, Supply Chain Development, Services)

 

Travel is expected to be  15-25 days per annum.

 

About the department

You will join the Global Supply Chain team, which currently comprises of 21 experienced and dedicated colleagues with a diverse background. Within the team, we have various functions covered, from shipping and distribution, planning, development and aftersales.

 

You will be part of the Global SC Management team, along with the VP, Head of Distribution, Head of Aftersales, Head of Planning and Head of Supply Chain Development.

• Have strong experience from a global cross functional Supply Chain role
• Solid knowledge with ERP systems and reporting tools
• Have experience communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders across geographies and cultures.
• Have strong English skills – written and verbal
• Have a high level of accountability, focusing on driving the best for the team as a whole
• Have previous international ideally global experience
• Thrive and find a sense of achievement in operational work and ‘’fighting fires’’
• Ability to work across 3 time zones
