**This position is available onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA - Sterling, VA, - Richardson, TX or REMOTELY with ~25% travel for the right candidate.**

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Technical Fellow within Advanced Technology & Capabilities organization. This individual will lead strategic roadmap development and work closely with cross-functional leaders to drive innovation, build team cohesion and understand how to influence teams to make value added changes and develop a positive culture of continuous improvement.  With a strong business acumen to effectively communicate and influence executive leadership, this prestigious role offers the opportunity to showcase your technical proficiency in Data & AI and supports the entire Connected Battlespace Strategic Initiative. 

 

The Senior Technical Fellow will own the establishment and execution of medium-term to long-term strategic roadmaps, plans, objectives, vision statements that align technology, customer (DOD) needs and create the opportunities for our future business.  This person must demonstrate a profound technical proficiency along with exceptional communication and presentation skills, as they play a pivotal role in shaping and influencing the business strategy which requires both depth and breadth in key technologies.  

 

As a key engineering member, in conjunction with the General Managers and Business Development leads, the Senior Technical Fellow will develop the strategies in Data & AI required to enable pursuits and capture growth via strategic roadmaps.  This visionary role entails aligning with customer needs and shaping/influencing future requirements of the Department of Defense (DoD) The Senior Technical Fellow will leverage expertise in Data & AI to drive strategic decision-making integrating advanced technologies to enhance mission effectiveness and develop innovative solutions to complex defense operational problems for the Connected Battlespace Strategic Initiative. 

 

Another key aspect of this role involves providing enterprise mentorship to engineering disciplines, where other Technical Directors and Chief Engineers will seek council and guidance from the ATC Senior Technical Fellow.  This will enable the sharing of knowledge, drive quality and create new solutions.  The Senior Technical Fellow will be the primary advocate for integrating AI solutions into JADC2 systems and processes and will influence the larger business with Non-Advocate Reviews, Design Reviews, and Customer Technical alignment.
