A Brief Overview
Works in a multi-disciplinary team made up of Clinical Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Strategy/Integration experts to extract valuable insights from data, enhancing decision-making processes within the organization. Primary responsibility will be to leverage PowerBI for visualizing the insights to translate complex data sets into intuitive and actionable visual representations. Additionally, this position will play a pivotal role in data engineering and transformation to ensure seamless flow of data to support the organization's business related needs.
What you will do
- Data Visualization: Develop compelling and insightful visualizations using PowerBI to effectively communicate complex healthcare data trends, patterns, and key performance indicators to facilitate informed decision-making among various stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal partners (Clinical Intelligence, Data Science, Data Engineering, Strategy & Integration) and external partners (doctors, nurses, executives, finance, supply chain, HR, marketing, etc) to understand their data needs within the ecosystem.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement within healthcare operations and internal processes by utilizing automation, and optimizing workflows.
- Data Integrity Assurance: Take a proactive role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the datasets in partnership with the data engineering team. The data utilized must be clean, validated, and maintain the level of consistency required for robust analytics and reporting.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with other functions within the Data & Analytics organization to integrate data sources, share expertise, and collectively generate comprehensive insights that contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the organization.
- Communication and Training: Effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders, providing training and support as needed to enable end-users to interpret and leverage data for their specific roles.
- Continuous Learning and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare analytics. Proactively explore innovative approaches to enhance data-driven decision making processes.
Essential Qualifications

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Bachelor's in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business or related fields or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
- Knowledge in PowerBI and SQL.
- At least two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Master's in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business or related fields or
- Doctorate (PHD) in computer science, analytics, mathematics, business or related fields.
- Knowledge of healthcare finance,, payroll, labor productivity, and/or HR analytics.
