Job Summary

Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications under the direction of a pharmacist. Responsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient focused and cost efficient drug therapy. Performs all functions of Pharmacy Technician I & II positions.

VA OR NC (depending upon the state location) Pharmacy Technician Registration Number and PTCB or NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). 1 year Pharmacy Technician, 3 months experience working in IV Room. CSPT Preferred

Qualifications:

Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) - Certification - National Healthcareer Association (NHA), Pharmacy Technician - State license - North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP), Pharmacy Technician - State License - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
