With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome a Facility Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team.
Scope of Work
The Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall success of the facility’s operation and possesses a working knowledge of industry regulations and best practices, stays innovative, and maintains a keen eye for improving operational efficiencies. Lead our maintenance team and ensure our facility’s infrastructure, equipment, and systems are fully operational and well-maintained.
Other Responsibilities and Duties:
- Mange the weekly tasks of employees under your supervision, while delegating and monitoring the progress of varies tasks including preventative maintenance schedules and special projects- ensure all tasks are complete timely and efficiently
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ensure the team has the tools to diagnose issues, schedule repairs, and ensure completion of work to quality and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA standards
- Oversee, track, and reconcile budget, purchasing materials, and inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment
- Planning, directing, overseeing maintenance operations building systems, grounds, and physical infrastructure
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
- Schedule routine inspections and ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and operational
- Recommend upgrades, improvements, or replacements when needed
Requirements
- Must have at least five (5) years of Facility Management or Maintenance experience
- Knowledge of all industry trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting
- Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and equipment
- The ability to lead others and possess strong communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and schematics
- Possess the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subjected to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
Preferred Certifications:
- HVAC Certification
- Electrical License
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) or related credential
