Job Description:

Job Summary: The Executive Director of HR is responsible for providing strategic leadership of all HR functions, including talent acquisition, total rewards, HRIS, talent management, employee relations & engagement, ensuring collaboration in the development and execution of the company’s HR strategy. Assists CHRO and executive business leaders on alignment of human capital strategy to JPS business strategy, and maintains business knowledge of the organization's fiscal goals, competitive environment, and strategic plans. The Executive Director of HR builds a human-centered, high-performing culture that aligns with the organization’s mission of patient-centered care, operational excellence, and community service.

Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:

1. Collaborates with the CHRO to develop and implement system-wide HR strategies, focusing on attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining high-quality talent across clinical and operational functions.


2. Promotes a culture that aligns with organizational values, with emphasis and a commitment to exceptional patient care and operational excellence.


3. Serves as a strategic advisor in advancing workforce initiatives that support organizational growth, compliance, and resilience.


4. Provides strategic oversight in the design and delivery of HR programs across all HR functions in alignment with JPS Health Network's overall HR strategy and business objectives.


5. Collaborates with senior leadership to define, prioritize, and implement HR programs and ensures alignment of the organization's HR agenda with the overall JPS HR delivery model.


6. Leads the development and execution of targeted HR initiatives that impact human capital costs, employee engagement, retention, competitive rewards, and other key performance indicators through the tracking, trending, and analysis of people data.
