Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified Sr. Financial Analyst to analyze, forecast, and optimize financial performance, contributing to strategic decision-making and business operations. This role will focus on complex financial reporting and support business strategy by evaluating the financial impacts of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
• Act as a subject matter expert, guiding teams on financial impact analysis and reporting best practices.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Other duties may be assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Education:

• A bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration (preferred). A strong foundation in finance and accounting principles is essential for success in this role

• Experience/Skills:
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Experience with financial analysis tools (e.g FocusPoint or other ERP)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Cognos)
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities and a results-driven mindset
• Experience with ERP or Accounting software (e.g. Deltek Costpoint)
• Proficiency in Microsoft office products, with advanced skills in Excel
• Experience with project/meeting facilitation with directors/executives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TM1 involves proficiency in using the software for various financial and business planning tasks. This includes creating and managing TM1 models, cubes, dimensions, and rules
• Identifying opportunities for enhancing TM1 applications and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability
• In addition to technical and financial skills, effective communication, leadership, and strategic thinking are essential for success as a finance manager in a government contracting company
• Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends is also important to ensure compliance and competitive advantage
