Summary
The Process & Solutions Director supports the company’s leadership by overseeing, managing, and leveraging the entire lifecycle of technology investments and initiatives to enable organization goals & objectives. Position requires a strong leader with a keen customer service orientation that promotes partnership with the business. Position ensures the highest value/priority work for the area is being completed at the committed time and delivers the intended business results.
The Finance process area includes maximizing the SAP and Non SAP financial and management accounting investments ensuring they integrate efficiently and consistently with the broader ecosystem.
Position is responsible for leading a team of functional ERP (SAP) experts who will partner with business analyst(s), the IT Development and Analytics teams to design, build, test and implement ERP solutions. This team of experts supports transformation, delivery and realization of ERP solutions and related 3rd party applications in the Record to Report process area.
This role partners closely with the IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) organization and other IT stakeholders to collaborate with the business to identify continuous improvement opportunities that further enhance business performance and create company-wide benefits. This includes communication & performance reporting about the existing project portfolio and identifying, coordinating & prioritizing projects within the portfolio. Additionally, the position collaborates with other IT leaders to aggregate resources against technology needs and generate a holistic view of future capacity restrictions and demand.
Position has overall responsibility for all SAP and enterprise application activities in their domain (support, changes, projects) and is responsible for owning the design and direction of the process area.
Position requires a leader with a deep understanding of system architecture.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversee all activities that optimize value, cost and risk of Finance and Record to Report applications
• Execute the strategy, roadmap and implementation of performance indicators and supporting metrics and trends for ERP applications
• Support ERP Implementation in coordination with core ERP team and VP, IT Applications and VP IT BRM; responsible to contribute towards adoption of ERP global template solutions and standard technologies
• Continually assess the impact of emerging ERP (SAP) technologies against strategic business needs and interpret business value for the leadership team in a consultative capacity.
• Ensure the consistency and maintainability of new and existing SAP applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing technical and quality standards, guidance and reference architectures.
• Perform day-to-day management of the process area direct reports and AMS (including staffing, budgeting and other relevant management functions) and hold all application delivery teams accountable for optimizing the cost, risk and value of ERP applications throughout their life cycle.
• Lead efforts to ensure the workplace environment supports a highly motivated and effective workforce focused on continuous improvement and best practices.
• Manage SAP functional COE personnel, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization, as well as building on existing recruiting capabilities to address new needs and skills gaps.
