About the role

The Director, Non-Agency Programs position is a key role to our business, responsible for program management of all Non-Agency programs in the B2B Channel. Reporting to the SVP of Business to Business Sales, the Director will work across the company and with our industry partners to drive and support the company’s goals and objectives for the addition of new Non-Agency volume through our B2B Channel, both for Delegated and Non-Delegated delivery types. This will include working with the sales, operations, capital markets, marketing, sales enablement, underwriting, and credit teams along with our external business partners to ensure the smooth end-to-end operation of our programs and to assist in acquiring volume to meet the company’s objectives and business plans. This seasoned professional will be responsible for collaborating across the company to accelerate growth and ensure that client’s service needs are being addressed.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

Business Development & Marketing

  • Develop, drive, and execute plans to achieve the company’s targets for pre-tax income and new MSR volume additions through our Co-Issue programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to structure pricing proposals, cost analyses, contract negotiations, and credit parameters (when applicable). 
  • Collaborate with Correspondent Division Managers, Strategic Sales Executives, and Account Executives to increase Non-Agency market share. 
  • Utilize existing relationships and networks to initiate connections with Correspondent Lending partners, aiming to establish Whole Loan purchase agreements and explore Sub Servicing opportunities
  • Attend industry conferences & tradeshows to promote PHH’s market-leading Non-Agency capabilities and complementary business lines.
  • Partner with the Marketing team as needed to enhance visibility of the PHH business model through targeted initiatives such as email campaigns, social media outreach, and other promotional opportunities.

Pipeline Analysis & Metrics

  • Manage weekly pipeline reporting to include new prospects, client strategy, and market dynamics.  The Director will also work to keep key stakeholders involved and updated in these areas as necessary.
  • Establish regular goals with management to achieve corporate acquisition goals and meet/exceed metrics for each quarter.
  • Provide consistent updates to executive leadership on organizational progress, market insights, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is desired but not required if the candidate has 10+ years experience in sales or business development.
  • Seasoned mortgage professional with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in mortgage banking, originations (both Delegated and Non-Delegated delivery),preferably in a business development / enterprise sales capacity.
  • Proven Business Development background, with the ability to manage the entire sales cycle:  from initial outreach/discovery through pricing/contracts through initial delivery
  • Experience working with products eligible for securitization is required.
  • Proven ability to adopt a resourceful, driven and pro-active approach to identify strategic clients & partners.
  • Proven ability to research & report on market trends at an senior leadership or executive level through industry contacts, trade associations, and publications.
  • Comfortable and most effective when working independently, making decisions in a fast-paced environment, and ability to pay very close attention to detail when working with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.  Experience with Salesforce is helpful but not required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams is required
  • Must pass the Company’s Background Screening process prior to beginning employment. Additionally, as a condition of employment, you may be required to pass client-specific background check requirements or Federal/State licensing requirements, if applicable.
