Job Profile Title:   Sr. Engineering Services Mgr. 

Location/Division Specific Information – San Jose, CA/ Great Oaks, Remote

How will you make an impact? --

Plan, organize, and direct multi-functional engineering department to meet company objectives. Develop and maintain the processes and methods for architecture development & documentation, system design & documentation, and requirements engineering. 

What will you do? ---

Work closely with semiconductor equipment companies to develop test platforms and methodologies for their products

Track and report ongoing projects in cooperation with a Project Manager

Analyze the performance of our efforts against several financial metrics. Constantly explore opportunities to improve that performance

Propose and implement improvements to customer test platforms to increase manufacturability, cost and performance

Provide periodic reporting to business management

How will you get here?  -

Education:  

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required

Experience:  

• Eight years' experience in manufacturing environment,  including previous management and/or supervisory experience

• 10  years’ experience in test development or a manufacturing environment and five years of hands-on experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:   

• Ability to work with various test software, including Open NI, MATLAB, and Benchvue

• Ability to write a customer-centric Statement of Work

• Familiarity with cost accounting procedures and processes

• Ability to manage individual engineers, teams of engineers, and project managers

• Willingness to travel to meet with customers and present Jabil’s capabilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Master's  degree is preferred;   MSEE, MBA preferred areas of study

Base Compensation Range: $158, 286 - $221, 600

Annual Bonus Target: 25

The pay range for this role is $158,286 - $284,914. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
