Job Description
The Dremel Website & Email Owner will be responsible for the US Dremel and RotoZip websites. They will own the following strategic areas and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross functional and regional digital platform owners to define, create and implement overall digital touchpoint vision, strategy, and experience.
- Scope, groom, and roll-out website & email enhancements based on business and user needs.
- Support technology solutions key to web and email including ratings & reviews, commerce, and personalization.
- In collaboration with our digital group, blend analytics, user behavior, and UX best practices to develop strategies which deliver outstanding digital end user experiences throughout the conversion funnel.
- Own and understand key web and email KPI’s to meet business objectives and stakeholders expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Web Management
- Build landing pages, microsites, banners, and other assets using the Bloomreach CMS to support the launch of campaigns and initiatives.
- Maintain timely content updates including copy, content, resources, video, and tools.
- Collaborate with designers to create compelling digital experiences that align with the brand style guidelines.
- Work with internal stakeholders on ways to improve the presentation of content on web pages.
Web Operations
- Respond to and troubleshoot any issues in a timely manner, coordinating with development teams to ensure site stability.
- Ensure global compliance including topics such as accessibility, security, and data privacy.
- Define and implement go-to-market strategy including advertising and communication strategy and execution.
- Build strategic plans for email subscription growth.
- Coordinate, plan and execute email campaigns to better serve our customer’s needs.
- Define and support implementation email flow automation s.
- Data Management and facilitation of existing user data for touch-point overarching personalization and segmentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field.
- 5-7 years of experience in a digital marketing position including web and email.
- In-depth knowledge of CMS with experience in Bloomreach/Hippo preferred.
- Strong digital analytics and metric skills required, including experience with Google Analytics/GA Event Tracking.
- Building and scoping A/B and multi-variant tests utilizing tools such as Optimizely and Hot Jar.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, sketch or other visual design and wire-framing tools preferred.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred.
