As a Data Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh-PA, Cleveland-OH, Strongsville-OH, Birmingham-AL or Dallas-TX.

Responsibilities include:
a. Perform analysis & documentation of source data, business process, escalations, & reports
b. Build complex ETL for end user layer for intraday monitoring & end of day analytics & reports
c. Maintain data enrichment, data quality, complex SQL, and business rules for end user layer
d. Develop detailed reports needed for intraday monitoring & end of day analytics & reports
e. Must be comfortable reviewing large data sets to find relationships, investigate changes, explain movements
f. Experienced in building analytics, insights, and business facing reports with minimal guidance
g. Expert in creating SQL queries that provide intuitive results that loosely couple large data sets for analysis & escalation

Preferred Skills
a. Experience working with liquidity management or capital markets
b. Experience in creating business facing reports using industry standard business intelligence tools
c. Experience in creating business rules in complex systems

Job Description

  • Develops, supports and implements data services for multiple applications to meet business objectives and user requirements. Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
  • Works closely with users, developers, operations and business partners to define data service requirements and the data preparation process development.
  • Designs and builds data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms, according to key business processes and the overall workflow.
  • Develops and implements data solutions for multiple applications to ensure its scalability, availability and maintainability.
  • Implements data migration and transformation activities/processes to ensure the accuracy and security of data solutions.
