Job Description
CrossBoundary Advisory is recruiting a full-time Associate or Senior Associate to join our team in Washington, DC. As an Associate/ Senior Associate, who will be working directly with a leading development finance institution (DFI), the candidate will analyze historical and current pipeline transactions, design and implement a framework for annual internal targets/KPIs and create a data governance framework to support data integrity and accuracy across systems for the respective DFI. The candidate should have strong data analysis skills and the ability to launch, operate and train others on new ways of working with data to automate and improve efficiency. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience working in data management and analytics, ideally in finance, consulting, or international development.

Primary Responsibilities
- Annual Target-Setting and Reporting Automaton
- Define and track internal planning targets and key performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness across organizational goals and programs, including establishing robust KPIs for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data entry and usage
- Prepare and distribute data insights for use by leadership, including creating and deploying automation tools for standard reporting and analytics
- Data Architecture Development & Data Governance
- Develop and implement a Data Governance Framework to ensure regulatory compliance and a single source of truth in line with data privacy requirements
- Support design and implementation of modern enterprise data architecture and integrate data sources and data collection across systems
- Build and maintain a database of historical and current pipeline transactions
- Assist with the integration of data and automation tools into the investment processes to improve efficiency
- Monitor and improve data quality, and build and maintain a comprehensive data inventory and authoritative data dictionaries
- Create and conduct annual data maturity assessments to benchmark and evaluate progress
- Data Culture & Training
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive data literacy program to empower other members of the organization to best use data
- Promote data as a strategic asset through success stories, and case studies, and create innovative incentives to promote uptake of data-drive initiatives
