Job Summary
Reporting to the VP, Enterprise Solutions, the Sr. Salesforce Solutions Architect is responsible for the design and implementation of Salesforce applications and solutions that support our hotel acquisition development team. This role has responsibility for the Salesforce application and will partner closely with Aimbridge business partners and 3rd party vendors to deliver effective, efficient, and scalable solutions. This individual is responsible for developing technical and functional direction for existing application use, gathering requirements, analyzing, designing and implementing enterprise solutions. Engage with third party partnerships to ensure guidelines and development standards are met. The ideal candidate will have expertise in customer relationship management application development, integrations, implementations and will have experience working closely with business partners for continuous improvement. Experience working in the hospitality industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
Education & Experience
- BS/BA Degree in computer science, or related field.
- Candidate must have at least 10 to 14 years of Salesforce Development/Architect experience.
- The candidate must have Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder and Salesforce Sales Cloud certifications.
- Candidate must have 6+ years of experience using APEX, Visualforce Pages, and Triggers. Lightning component development and lightning design development.
- Experience in designing custom objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow approval processes, validation rules, reports, dashboards, Visualforce pages and email generation.
- Competency in HTML, XML, Flex, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, REST and SOAP based web services.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple and complex projects.
- Ability to quickly learn new technical/functional areas.
- Must demonstrate excellent cross-functional teamwork skills and must be willing to learn and effect change.
- Demonstrate oral, written, grammar and listening skills.
- Must be a self-starter, take directions and work collaboratively in a creative, Agile environment.
- Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio
Job Duties & Functions
- Work with hotel acquisition development team to build out our Salesforce platform across the organization.
- Work closely with the Salesforce systems administrator and other IT technical teams.
- Analyze requirements, propose software design, instruct software developers on proper development standards.
- Define standard database design and provide production support.
- Engage with service providers to ensure guidelines, requirements, and development standards are met.
- Provide estimated development hours, project charter, design and technical specifications before the start of the project.
- Take ownership of project work and demonstrate the ability to manage projects throughout the development life cycle.
- Follow Salesforce best practices and security measures.
- Develop test cases, debug applications, test bug fixes and develop user documentation.
- Design and develop interfaces APIs and integrations from Salesforce to external systems.
- Expected to attend internal IT steering committee calls/meetings.
- Design and develop with Salesforce administrator, develop user SOP documentation, workflows and functional documentation.
- Basic understanding of financial system applications. Budget Management is a plus.
