What you bring to the table:

The Home Health Staff and Training Specialist is responsible for seamless operations within Home Health by providing comprehensive administrative assistance and field support.  This position is responsible for preparing and leading comprehensive and engaging in-person classroom training, in-home training, and ongoing support for caregivers including in-home personal care services. This role contributes significantly to the efficient functioning of the Home Health team and the delivery of exceptional service to clients.

  • Proficiency with computers, including MS Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Zoom, and other common computer programs.

Essential Responsibilities:   

  • Provide hands on direct care and support to clients in their homes and accompaniment visits which include Personal Care Assistance, Health Maintenance, and Homemaker Services.
  • Assist Home Health office staff with various projects or tasks as needed to include
  • HR pre-hire tasks, scheduling, quality, and special projects.
  • Manages the on-call phone and provides back-up care as needed in accordance with the Scheduler On-Call policy (approximately one week out of every 3-6 weeks).
  • Checks the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) consistently for quality, identifies errors, and proactively works for timely resolution of any concerns.
  • Professional and timely documentation of critical patient care notes and relevant data within EMR software and alternate applications on the day of service.
