About the role
Your Contribution
- Responsible for growing medical and industrial sales segments in North America.
- Responsible for Account Managers, Territory Sales Managers and New Business Manager (3-5 employees).
- Lead, motivate and promote his/her team members (esp. annual goal setting, regular feedback meetings, performance appraisal, succession planning, personnel development and training measures) and optimize effectiveness of the sales organization.
- Implement Medical and Industrial strategies (market segments, product range, pricing, promotion) by creating sales and marketing concepts for sales growth and customer retention.
- Develops customer strategies and contact plans together with account managers and territory sales managers.
- Set objectives for sales results and activities with; Develop and monitor sales opportunity pipeline and evaluates new opportunities.
- Develop the sales organization according to market requirements.
- Responsible for direct contact to key accounts and lead negotiations on pricing and conditions/supply agreements.
- Develop methods for continuous observation of competitors and market trends and draw conclusions for possible impact for the strategic activities in the region.
- Support management team in updating the Medical and Industrial strategic plan.
- Suggests new product ideas to relevant product managers.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical (preferred) or commercial field (MBA, Engineering, etc.).
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Sales and Marketing in B2B, engineered solutions, sub-systems or components business.
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in leading a sales team.
- Knowledge of relevant Medical Device industry and network into this industry.
- Proven track record in having achieved sales growth above market average and successful closing of multi-million contracts.
- Strong analytical ability and a disciplined problem-solving approach.
- Computer proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office software.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Effective communication skills: listening, writing, speaking and oral presentations.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
- Able and willing to work with others on a team.
- Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required.
