Program Director

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Manager to join Northeast Arc in Danvers, MA!

Northeast Arc Day Habilitation (Day Hab) programs help with the acquisition, retention, and improvement of self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills. Supports are arranged based upon an individual’s personal goals and dreams. Individualized Day Hab plans are developed to focus on the skills and activities that best suit each participant. Clinical supports and consultations are woven into daily activities by our team of nurses, occupational therapists and physical therapists.

Our programs provide specialty subservices to participants including intensive medical supports, transitional program, and employment opportunities at one of our small businesses. Supports and activities include but are not limited to adaptive technology, community-based activities, and daily living skills.

Job Summary: The Program Director oversees and directs the day-to-day operations of the Endeavor Day Habilitation program and provides supervision, coaching, mentoring, and support to assigned direct reports.

Major Responsibilities:

• Oversees daily operations of Day Hab Programming including but not limited to review of programmatic goals, staff supervision, evaluation and training.

• Ensures Assistant Program Directors complete essential daily programmatic functions including but not limited to case and record management, attendance billing and scheduling of daily activities.

• Interviews, hires, trains and supervises program staff. Addresses, in consultation with HR, performance related issues as outlined in Agency Policy and Procedures.

• Conducts staff performance appraisals and establishes professional goals and objectives for each staff member annually, or more often as necessary
• Solicits and coordinate new referrals, as assigned, to program in conjunction with the Day Habilitation Services Manager.
• Coordinates and complete all tasks required to meet industry standards as established by MassHealth and CARF.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in health-related field required

• Minimum 3 years’ of health care experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Inclusive leadership and management skills

• Previous knowledge and experience implementation of regulations and policies

Job Type: Full Time, Mon-Fri, Onsite
Pay: $28-31/hour
