Responsibilities:
- Lead supply chain management programs and warehouse team.
- Bring to bear their expertise and/or identify development opportunities to support their professional growth.
- Provide feedback on this team’s success and development opportunities.
- Manage transportation and logistics operations by establishing and reporting KPI’s aimed to deliver value and remain on budget.
- Work cross-functionally to address supply chain efficiency and service improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement inventory controls and seek to optimize inventory across the organization.
- Provide leadership for semiannual physical inventory events.
- Develop sourcing initiatives by drafting RFx’s, reviewing and scoring proposals, and preparing routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications all aimed to drive value to DASCO
- delivering value to the organization.
- Manage supply chain and procurement projects post contract execution through implementation planning to be completed and handoff.
- Manage supplier relationships by collaborating externally to generate value, bring in market intelligence, and ensuring supplier performance.
- Manage and optimize facility leases.
- Mitigate company risk through improvements in facility selection and lease terminations.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize operational and procurement key performance indicators (KPIs) on a periodic basis, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Compile and analyze data for metric development and reporting
- Accountable for interacting internal within the organization to evaluate new products and bringing purchasing and supply chain decisions to a consensus • Review supply benchmarks to identify price targets

Supervisory Responsibility:
Direct reports include inventory analyst and warehouse associates
Reports to:
Vice President Strategic Sourcing
Education and Experience:
- Education or experience equivalent to a four-year college degree in supply chain or business
- Brightree ERP systems preferred
- APICS or Lean Six Sigma certification optional
- Technical skills in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
- Minimum three years leading others
- Minimum three years’ experience in supply chain required where data analytics, process management, inventory management and purchasing were applied within the role
- Strong skills in computer data management within spreadsheets
Position Tyle/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Work Environment:
This job operates primarily in a professional office environment but also spends significant time in a warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands:
The employee is typically required to sit; frequently stands, occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
