For Conductor, success is improving the lives of all the people in our orbit—our customers, our customers' customers, our employee-owners, and our communities.</p> <p>Platform Engineering is a remote first distributed team that is powering CI/CD platforms, a huge array of kubernetes backed microservices, and other infrastructure in AWS and in a hosted environment to help Conductor build elegant, efficient, and customer focused solutions. </p> <p>To support our Platform Engineering Team, we are looking for a new:</p> <p><strong>Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)</strong></p> <p>(Hybrid in Berlin or remote in Germany/ Full-time/ Permanent Contract)</p> <h2><strong>Your Tasks: </strong></h2> <ul> <li>Deploy, update, and optimize, applications with cloud native technologies cloud</li> <li>Support, optimize and scale on-premise hosted environments, both physical and virtual.</li> <li>Optimize large distributed databases ingesting multiple terabytes of data per day</li> <li>Assess the health of systems and infrastructure to advocate for upgrades, maintenance, and changes.</li> <li>Educate peers and development teams on best practices for developing and sustaining large data sets in ElasticSearch.</li> <li>Ensure quality, availability, reliability, and performance of massive scale data processing SaaS environment</li> <li>Build automations, dashboards, and best-in-class observability for a large distributed system in varied hosting environments. </li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders across the Engineering organization to integrate and optimize legacy systems and acquisitions</li> <li>Assist the Information Security team on security initiatives, provide auditable workflows for change management, and monitor for security issues and incidents.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your Profile:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent professional experience</li> <li>5+ years professional experience working in DevOps or SRE in Cloud Environments and managed hosting environments (on-premise as well)</li> <li>5+ years experience with administering, scaling, and supporting ElasticSearch and similar data clusters<strong><em> </em></strong></li> <li>Expertise and seasoned competence with managing physical infrastructure</li> <li>Have configured CI/CD for tooling and technologies including Kubernetes and Terraform </li> <li>Professional verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate your work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li> <li>Familiarity with Ansible and Cloudflare a plus</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Your Benefits:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Friendly, open-minded and helpful international colleagues</li> <li>Access to the learning platform LinkedIn Learning</li> <li>Team and company events</li> <li>Urban Sports (M) or Fitness First membership or Swapfiets</li> <li>28 days vacation at the start, 30 days after two years</li> <li>Company pension allowance</li> <li>Dog-friendly office</li> </ul> <p>Interested?
