Production Clerk

About your role:

As a Production Clerk, you will support the Rapid Department by verifying, logging, and labeling incoming and outgoing mail and maintaining accurate control of returned plastics inventory. You will work closely with production and vault operations teams to support reporting, distribution, and workflow continuity. Your work helps maintain production accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely support for the production floor.

What you'll do:

  • Verify, log, and label incoming and outgoing mail accurately and in a timely manner
  • Control inventory of returned plastics in accordance with vault filing procedures
  • Prepare inventory reports and distribute returned plastics to the production floor
  • Support production workflow by maintaining accurate records and organized materials handling
  • Follow dual control procedures established by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express regulations
  • Identify opportunities to improve production tasks and support efficient department operations
  • Collaborate with the production team to maintain quality and meet operational expectations

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 1+ years of experience in a production, mailroom, operations, or inventory control environment
  • 1+ years of experience maintaining accurate logs, records, or inventory documentation
  • Ability to follow defined operational procedures, dual control requirements, and material handling processes
  • Ability to use basic computer systems and data entry tools to support inventory reporting and tracking
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience working in a regulated production or financial services environment
  • Experience supporting mail processing, vault operations, or returned materials handling
  • Familiarity with inventory reporting and physical records management

How you'll work:

  • You will work an assigned schedule of 2nd shift, Monday - Friday from 3:30pm-12:00am or 3:00pm-11:30pm.
  • Eligible to earn shift differential for working 2nd shift.
  • This role requires frequent moving and/or carrying of materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
