What does a successful Client Service Advisor do? 

At Fiserv, a successful Client Service Advisor embodies our commitment to delivering unparalleled financial services. These professionals are the front-line advocates for our customers, ensuring that their queries and issues are managed with the utmost care and efficiency. Your role will involve not just resolving issues, but also empowering our clients with the knowledge and support they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.

What you will do:

  • Handle 500+ inbound phone calls per month from various stakeholders, including Wells Fargo Bankers, Business Sales Consultants, Account Managers, and Merchants.

  • Own and resolve issues related to processing, interchange qualification, chargebacks, billing, funding investigations, statement reviews, fee inquiries, and account maintenance.

  • Facilitate PCI compliance conversations and answer product-related questions.

  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for Class A&B terminal products, perform terminal downloads, and train new and existing customers.

  • Perform refund negotiations and independently conduct rate reviews and pricing negotiations, balancing the needs of WFMS with customer retention.

What you will need to have:

  • 4+ years of experience in customer service.

  • Strong customer service skills with an expectation for ownership of issues.

  • High School Diploma or HS Equivalent and/or equivalent military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in merchant services or customer service.

  • Technical background helpful to assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.

  • Knowledge of MSA, Remedy, Client Line, Business Track, Merchant Manager, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and FDPOS.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with varying levels of management.

  • Critical thinking and ability to empathize and de-escalate emotional phone calls with customers.

Salary Range:

$36,200.00-$48,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Maryland. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
