Finance Accountant with German (Expense & Travel) Job

As an (Operational) Expense & Travel Senior Accountant you will be responsible to administer and take responsibility for activities throughout the whole accounts payable service offering and to coordinate tasks to support the NTT DATA Finance organization the best possible way.

 

What you'll be doing

 

 

• Coordinate tasks and represent the accounts payable team as point of contact towards served organizations
• Provide support, direction, and organization to the accounts payable team, facilitate meetings, and maintain planning foresight 
• Administer and process travel expenses from entry to master data to confirmation of balances
• Process business invoices with and without purchase order reference
• Process payment runs and incoming invoices 
• Book active accruals and deferrals as well as conduct account reconciliations concerning outstanding balances
• Drive end-to-end process improvement, find opportunities to lead standardization and consistency for process optimization and automatization

 
What you'll bring along

 

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting – experience within accounts payable and general ledger desirable
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Finance & Accounting, or comparable academic studies or completed commercial vocational training; Master’s degree in the area of expertise above would be preferable
• Ideally knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations
• Business English and German language fluency are essential – both written and verbal communication skills
• In general, excellent communication and project management skills
• Detailed understanding of Finance (Expense & Travel) processes and experience in operational processing of accounts payable-related operations (e.g., travel expenses as well as vendor incoming invoices)
• Very good skills in MS Word / Excel / Outlook / Teams and SAP FI / MM / VIM
• Ideally knowledge of the special requirements of the IT consulting industry
