In Dublin, Novo Nordisk is searching for a Finance and Procurement Manager.

 

The Position

 

Ownership of the business plan & strategy for the launch of the new site set up. Management & oversight of the accounting, procurement & controlling activities.

 

As a Finance & Procurement Manager, our Fill finish expansions department, you will:

 

• Maintaining financial & procurement policies & procedures, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, audits, tax & cash management
• Manage develop and enhance your team covering off the finance & procurement function.
• Leading & managing the contractor & vendor selection process & ensure best prices negotiated.
• Long term financial planning & analysis of the organizational implications
• Support & leadership to the organization in all areas of accounting, procurement, finance & business strategy planning
• Building a best in class finance & procurement organization by striving to improve the purchase-to-pay & the controlling function, including project controlling & consolidating accounting

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Procurement or Accounting from an accredited university required.
• Master’ degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain from an accredited university preferred.
• CPA Certification preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing organization required, pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ direct supervisory experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of Finance regulations (GAAP, IFRS, IRS) required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of procurement & contract management experience required.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of business processes in manufacturing & operations required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience supporting major capital investment projects required.
• Proficiency in preparing charts, graphs & presentations required.
• Strong process improvement, systematic troubleshooting & problem-solving skills preferred.
• Ability to plan, coordinate & prioritize activities to ensure optimal use of resources in the department required.
