In Dublin, Novo Nordisk is searching for a Finance and Procurement Manager.
The Position
Ownership of the business plan & strategy for the launch of the new site set up. Management & oversight of the accounting, procurement & controlling activities.
As a Finance & Procurement Manager, our Fill finish expansions department, you will:
- Maintaining financial & procurement policies & procedures, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, audits, tax & cash management
- Manage develop and enhance your team covering off the finance & procurement function.
- Leading & managing the contractor & vendor selection process & ensure best prices negotiated.
- Long term financial planning & analysis of the organizational implications
- Support & leadership to the organization in all areas of accounting, procurement, finance & business strategy planning
- Building a best in class finance & procurement organization by striving to improve the purchase-to-pay & the controlling function, including project controlling & consolidating accounting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Procurement or Accounting from an accredited university required.
- Master’ degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain from an accredited university preferred.
- CPA Certification preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing organization required, pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ direct supervisory experience required.
- Advanced knowledge of Finance regulations (GAAP, IFRS, IRS) required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of procurement & contract management experience required.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of business processes in manufacturing & operations required.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience supporting major capital investment projects required.
- Proficiency in preparing charts, graphs & presentations required.
- Strong process improvement, systematic troubleshooting & problem-solving skills preferred.
- Ability to plan, coordinate & prioritize activities to ensure optimal use of resources in the department required.

To meet the increasing demand for current and future treatments in serious chronic diseases, we are looking into expanding our global manufacturing footprint in Ireland.
