What We Want

The Senior Associate Athletic Trainer is responsible for overseeing the Athletic Training program for the assigned sport, which promotes and protects student-athlete health, wellness, and safety.

Responsibilities

Athletic Training Services

• Coordinate and deliver athletic training services to varsity student-athletes under the direction of the team physician, including prevention, recognition, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries.

• Implement acute care and emergency response strategies for athletic injuries.

Operations

• Oversee all athletic training room operations for assigned sport

• Maintain comprehensive medical records for individual student-athletes, daily injury reports for all athletes, and annual injury report summarizing injuries, treatments, and follow-up care.

Scheduling and Procedure Development

• Schedule sports medicine staff.

• Develop, implement, and maintain emergency action plans and standard operating procedures for all varsity athletic sites.

Administrative

• Administrative duties assigned based on experience
