The Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting and/or leading projects related to working with outside vendors to convert cheese manufactured by and for Saputo into finished goods, with varying levels of complexity. Activities could include, but are not limited to, working with conversion partners for items not manufactured by Saputo or packaged by Saputo. Significant engagement with both suppliers and other groups outside Sourcing may be required. A Sr. Analyst – Procurement Conversion works well independently, with teams, and may lead or support complex cross-functional process or supplier performance improvement actions or projects.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

• Develop and implement conversion strategies with suppliers who meet Saputo standards (quality, food safety) and pricing requirements.

• Negotiate costing with conversion partners annually and as needed.

• Continually foster relationships between Saputo and our cheese converters.

• Obtain and analyze market intel from our converters and other sources to inform purchasing, production and negotiations.

• Identify viable converter options, secure price quotes and assist in set-up for new items and RFPs.

• Work with the production group to determine items to be converted by our partners.

• Report annually on volumes and pricing to senior leadership for budgeting purposes.

• Resolve complaints specific to assigned vendors.

• Perform other duties or projects related to assigned category.

• Analyze the costs associated with converter business to ensure the business is profitable and makes sense.

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have The Following Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• 4-6 years of procurement, supply chain or relevant experience (food procurement preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, related field or equivalent experience.

• Negotiation experience and meticulous attention to detail required.

• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

• Up to 25% travel required.

salary range: $70,050-$105,080

salary offers vary commensurate with skills, experience, education, and training
