Job Description

RESPEC seeks a Senior Database Developer skilled in Microsoft Visual Studio, SSMS and SQL Server.  Experience with SQL Server database design and development (e.g., Stored Procedures, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS) is required.  Candidate must also have domain knowledge of standard software development processes and services and a good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.  U. S. Citizenship is also highly desired. 

Senior Database Developer will support existing applications as well as developing new applications. Support includes designing fixes to issues, implementation of enhancements, application re-write, and additional maintenance functions of applications on an as needed basis. 

Actual work assignments may vary from week-to-week but are expected to average 40 hours per week. Regularly scheduled meetings will be conducted with the development team to review tasks and status. Attendance is mandatory for assigned resources. Occasionally, written status may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems degree or comparable industry experience.
• 8 + years professional database development experience
• Experienced in Design Patterns and Best Practices such as IOC, Repository, etc
• Experienced in SQL Server (versions 2019 or higher), database design and programming including stored procedures, views and other development.
• Experience working with Visual Studio 2022 or higher
• Experience working with JIRA
• Experienced documenting ERD’s and Data Dictonaries
