Are you ready for your next step within Boskalis? The Fleet Management department within the Boskalis Offshore Energy division is offering a job opportunity as hr business partner marine crew.
The role of HR is relatively new within Fleet Management and our main focus is to give more attention and focus to our marine crew. We want to add a more long-term view and perspective on development and succession planning of the colleagues on board. Working in close cooperation with sourcing & crew management who are highly skilled in finding talent, planning, rostering and compliance. The role of hr business partner is relatively new within our team and further development and optimization of the organization and our processes are on our agenda. You will play an important role in realizing HR projects as part of this initiative so we are looking for a solid hr business partner with affinity for projects.
Throughout the work as a hr business partner it is key to execute your work based on the Human Excellence pillars ‘Performance & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Mobility and Vitality’. In this role close collaboration with your colleagues of Crewing Fleet Management is key. You will be working with a team of international crew that work on our vessels all over the world. You are responsible for executing and monitoring HR policies for our Crew department and you will be challenged to continuously improve the policies we have in place. You are result-oriented and enjoy working in an international and dynamic environment. You are proactive and, based on your knowledge and experience, you initiate and organize.
Your responsibilities as HR Business Partner Marine Crew:
- In this role, you immediately become the advisor, sounding board and coach for our crewing department and vessels. You are a true business partner and do not shy away from handling operational matters as they arise.
- You will follow up to HR related topics of appraisal reviews and coaching on crew employees in their career with Boskalis.
- You provide solicited and unsolicited advice and feedback to the crew coordinators and vessels which are assigned to you on HR topics, such as performance management, talent management, succession planning and employment conditions.
- You are involved in various HR projects (in line with the Human Excellence pillars) to create the basis of Human Excellence within marine crew of OE Fleet Management such as optimizing performance management and projects related to our wide variety of employment packages.
- You guide and support the managers and crewing department with further implementation of key HR processes like talent development, recruitment activities and performance action plans.

Your qualities and experience
You can move ahead as an HR Business Partner Marine Crew if you have:
- At least 5 years’ relevant work experience as an hr business partner, preferably in an international organization with a hands-on culture.
- Relevant working experience in running HR projects.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration or similar.
- Strong communication skills in English, Dutch can be a plus.
- Good command of Microsoft office.
- Self-starter, independent, flexible.
- Strong personality that can out things in perspective.
