About the role

About the Role

We are building a radically more efficient, intelligent, and AI-powered People Operating System. As the Director, Policy and Process Automation, you will be responsible for developing the mechanisms for codifying existing policies, defining new ones and determining where we at DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo should consolidate or differentiate people processes and where automation will yield the most impactful returns.

In this role, you’ll lead bold, hands-on transformation that connects people, process, and technology in ways that save thousands of hours, improve employee experiences, and deliver measurable business impact.

You will also perform in a Chief of Staff capacity and partner closely with COEs, business unit People leaders, engineers, product managers, and operations leaders worldwide. Your success will be measured by accelerated process velocity, measurable ROI, and experience improvement..

You are excited about this opportunity because you will

  • Own Projects End-to-End: Take ambiguous ideas and turn them into well-defined projects. Collaborate with stakeholders to define hypotheses, scope efforts, conduct analyses, and execute solutions.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Enterprise teams to align priorities, share findings, and ensure strategic decisions are supported by rigorous data analysis.
  • Improve Data Foundations: Help identify opportunities to improve data quality and consistency, enabling more scalable and accurate analytics across the business.
  • Partner with tech and product leaders to deliver solutions that balance process simplification, policy alignment, and end-user experience
  • Oversee the creation of future-state process architectures that integrate seamlessly with AI-powered tools and platforms
  • Ensure all process changes are backed by quantifiable success metrics such as time savings, SLA compression, ROI, and adoption rates

We are excited about you because

  • You are a systems thinker who can see the full architecture of how people, process, and technology interconnect and then act decisively on the right levers
  • You thrive in high-change, high-ambiguity environments, using data and structured thinking to cut through complexity
  • You have the collaboration and influence skills to align diverse stakeholders behind a shared transformation vision
  • You solve problems from first principles. You’re excited to solve problems in innovative ways, and you resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking.
  • You’re customer focused. You lead with end-user empathy, building processes that work for the people who actually use them
  • You’re equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot. You don’t hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you’re just as comfortable thinking long-term and inspiring a team. No job is beneath you
  • You have 10+ years of experience. You’ve succeeded in high-performance cultures (whether in tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, startups or a related experience).
  • You are a leader. You have 3+ years of experience managing teams

Why you will love working here

  • You will be a key contributor on the team shaping the future of how work gets done, not just implementing tools but rebuilding the operating system that powers our global workforce
  • You will operate at the intersection of technology, people, and process, making bold changes that scale across geographies and business units
  • You will be surrounded by smart, mission-driven teammates who move fast, value outcomes over optics, and challenge each other to deliver the best work of their careers
  • You will leave a lasting impact by building a future-ready, AI-powered People Operating System that becomes the industry benchmark

We expect this position to be filled by 1/10/2026.
