About the role

The Manager of Supply Chain Compliance is responsible for developing, implementing, and governing compliance programs that ensure the organization’s global supply chain meets all regulatory, contractual, and corporate requirements. This role is critical within the Aerospace & Defense sector, ensuring adherence to U.S. Government regulations (including FAR/DFARS), export controls (ITAR, EAR), cybersecurity mandates (CMMC), supplier quality and ethics standards, and customer-imposed compliance obligations. The Senior Manager will lead cross-functional Supply Chain focused continuous improvement initiatives, support strategic direction as well tactical execution, mitigate risk across the supply base, and cultivate a culture of compliance throughout the supply chain organization.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of supply chain compliance processes and controls.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Contracts, Quality, Legal, Security, and Program Management to interpret flow-down requirements and integrate them into procurement processes.
  • Review procurement packages for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Provide compliance guidance to Supply Chain personnel, program teams, and management to support adherence to company and government standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to requests, and coordinating corrective actions when needed.
  • Review procedures and process documentation to identify gaps, ensure accuracy, and recommend updates or clarifications.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
  • Drive compliance training programs for internal teams and suppliers, covering government contracting rules, ethical sourcing, export controls, and other regulatory and compliance updates.
  • Interface with Supply Chain Management processes and personnel at all levels to drive alignment, ensure consistent execution, and promote compliance best practices throughout the organization.
  • Monitor evolving regulations and industry standards, advising leadership on impacts and required strategic adjustments.
  • Support enterprise initiatives related to digital transformation, system optimization, and process governance.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for compliance-related customer inquiries, corrective actions, and proposal reviews.
  • Oversee internal controls, documentation standards, data accuracy, and audit readiness for supply chain compliance.
  • Lead investigations or response actions related to supplier non-compliance, export violations, or ethics concerns.
  • Develop performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to measure compliance health across the supply chain.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
  • In-depth understanding of Supply Chain Procurement / Subcontract process
  • Significant understanding of US Government (FAR/DFARS, ITAR, EAR, and related government procurement regulations) and non-US Government / Commercial contracting
  • Experience with supplier compliance assessments, audit processes, and corrective action management.
  • Experience operating in a Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) environment and participating in DOD CPSR audits
  • Familiarity with Government Contractor Business System audits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
