High Reach Forklift Operator

Operate a stand-up high reach forklift to efficiently transport products, equipment, and materials while ensuring strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures. Play a vital role in maintaining a smooth and organized workflow in a fast-paced environment! 🚜

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Efficiently Put Away Palletized Units: Operate high reach forklift to lift and place palletized units into high racks above floor level, ensuring organized and efficient storage.
• Prepare for Outbound Shipments: Pick palletized units from elevated rack locations and expertly set them up for shipment.
• Use RF Technology for Accuracy: Accurately select and record materials, weights, counts, and conditions of food items using Radio Frequency (RF) systems, keeping inventory precise.
• Load and Unload Materials: Safely handle materials by loading and unloading them from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Perform Forklift Maintenance: Complete daily forklift maintenance and check sheets to keep equipment in top shape.
• Battery Monitoring & Maintenance: Regularly monitor battery charge, perform maintenance and cleaning, and place material handling equipment in the designated charging stations.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate Other Machinery: Work with additional machinery and material handling equipment to keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

• Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations and measurements with ease.
• Follow Instructions: Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage
• Minimum of 1 year prior High Reach Experience
• Comfortable with Temperature Variations: Work in a range of temperatures, from as low as -20°F / -25°C in cold storage to as high as 100°F / 37°C in dry storage while wearing provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
• Physical Demands: Able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs / 18 kgs (heavier weights may apply depending on facility).
• Flexible Work Schedule: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends, to meet operational needs.
• Noise Tolerance: Comfortable working in environments where noise levels can vary and may be loud.
