Job Description

The Future Talent Program features Cooperative (Co-op) education that lasts up to 6 months and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Animal Health Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the global companion animal biologicals marketing team (for our pet vaccines) to advance marketing strategy across regions and to support local markets via coordination and execution of marketing activities including:

  • Support, service and analysis for our companion animal biologicals (vaccines)

  • Logistical support for marketing activities and new tools

  • Special projects related to the growing vaccine portfolio

  • Coordination and support

  • Clear, concise and timely communication and coordination with companion animal global colleagues, with colleagues in other countries, in other species groups and other functional groups

Education Minimum Requirement:   

  • Must be in the process of earning a BA or BS in Business, Marketing, Biology, Pharmacology, Animal Science, Agribusiness, Veterinary School, Animal Health or related degree programs

  • Completed at least 3 years of college course work by June 2025

Required Experience and Skills:  

  • Must be available to work full time for 6 months

  • Critical thinking skills to carry out instructions and make decisions within scope of authority

  • Problem solving skills involving several variables

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures and be an active member of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent English communication skills, oral and written.  

  • Ability to adapt communication to international audiences

  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Leadership roles during college

  • Additional language fluency highly desirable

  • Previous experience working in:

    • a multinational and/or corporate business setting

    • consumer or professional marketing, PR or advertising

  • A love and passion for animals is a plus
