Job Title: Sales Operation Data Analyst

Reports to (title): VP, Director - Sales & Shareholder Administration

Job Description:

Alger seeks a Data Analyst to partners with the cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective reporting and dashboard solutions. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing interactive reports using Salesforce and BI tools to support senior leadership and data-driven decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Partner with various departments across the firm to gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable reporting and dashboard solutions.
• Assist in implementing Business Intelligence (BI) tools, ensuring best practices in visualization and usability are applied.
• Design, build, and optimize interactive reports and dashboards using Salesforce and BI tools for Senior Leadership and the Distribution team, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Deliver recurring, ad-hoc, and on-demand reports across multiple business areas, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation, and monitor daily, monthly, and periodic reports to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reporting deliverables, adhering to compliance and audit standards.
• Leverage advanced data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
