We are seeking a candidate for the position of Timekeeper Clerk (7691) 2nd & Wyoming in the Finance/Revenue Operations.

OVERALL DESCRIPTION
Under the general supervision of the Director of Maintenance, provides logistical support to the location’s maintenance activities by moving material and supplies, ordering material, stocking material, receiving material, shipping material, maintaining and processing shipping manifest, logging records, as well as filling in for the Payroll Clerk as needed.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains proper stocking levels for maintenance activity; withdraws parts from the storeroom; organizes and stocks parts into bins and shelves.
- Prepares parts and equipment for shipping; maintains and completes shipping manifest.
- Receives parts and equipment; maintains and generates repair travelers.
- Loads and unloads parts and equipment from delivery vehicles.
- Secures, organizes, maintains, and controls the distribution and inventory of parts and supplies for the maintenance location.
- Utilizes computer for tracking material and parts.
- Inputs weekly payroll for hourly employees.
- Maintains employee records and files.
- Inputs data from daily incident report into database and generates MTBF report and related reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License. Prior experience in use of database applications and software, preferably Microsoft Access and Excel. Prior experience in parts maintenance and inventory tracking. Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of CAPES, SHARE, ASI and VMIS system operations.
- Ability to successfully complete testing requirements, employment interview, employment history verification and criminal background check and medical examination including drug screening.
EQUIPMENT USED:
- PC: Microsoft Office, bar code scanner, pallet jack, hand truck, fork truck, overhead crane and various moving carts.
PHYSICAL:
- Sitting 30% Standing and Moving – about 70%. Climb ladders, lifts up to 85 lbs., moves heavy material.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Dust and dirt from materials. Various temperatures and noise levels.
