JOB SUMMARY:

 At Nevada Heart and Vascular (NHVC) The Technical Business Analyst, under the direction of the Vice President of Information Technology, is primarily tasked with owning the overall design of assigned technical projects (custom or product strategy) as well as recommending best practices for solutions based on client business needs. This role as a Technical Business Analyst will require strategic design, mapping of business requirements, software configuration and solutions to system/technical requirements. An individual filling the Technical Business Analyst role should be comfortable being introduced during a pre-sales engagement and can articulate possible solutions applicable to experience with Cloud-Based Software solutions (e.g. EMR Systems like athenaOne, eClinicalworks, NetSuite, Intacct, SFDC, etc.) The Technical Business Analyst will also be responsible for writing technical specifications (for custom development, system integration, etc.) based on interactions directly with the customer and professional services team. These specifications will need to be precise and clear as the Technical Business Analyst will delegate some work to fellow team members such as developers, consultants, or product support / documentation. The Technical Business Analyst is engaged in best practice development initiatives, provides thoughtful leadership, and familiarity with proven cloud solutions that support vertical objectives. 

Requirements

  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Healthcare and at least 5-8 years of consulting experience in managing healthcare business applications.

· Technical and Healthcare experience preferred. 

· 3 – 5 years’ experience in project management preferred

· Knowledge using Eletronic medical records, Practice Management and Revenue cycle management in Healthcare preferred.

· Knowledge using athenaOne Base or Advance preferred.

· 3 – 5 years’ experience using Microsoft tools (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Project, and Visio).

· Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently.

· Proven ability to analyze and understand clinical business requirements.

· 3 – 5 years’ experience configuring SaaS Eletronic medical records.

· 3 – 5 years’ hands on experience with ihealthcare interfaces including HL7 or open api

· Ability to learn quickly and think creatively.

· Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to take a leadership role when necessary.

· Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.

  • Oversees, and has accountability for the successful completion of all aspects of assigned project work. 
  • Can exercise independent judgment and take the lead role on enterprise-level projects with minimal direction from a director or engagement manager.
  • Is able to effectively facilitate meetings, demonstrate brainstorming / consensus-building skills, and interact with executive-level project sponsors.
  • Ability to gather, interpret, and critically analyze data.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet leadership and departmental goals and initiatives.
  • Ability to have a collaborative approach to teamwork and problem solving
