Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation team, based in Tampa, FL

We seek a team player who desires a highly collaborative work environment, has excellent client and communication skills, and strong design capabilities. We seek a candidate with expertise on the Florida's Department of Transportation (FDOT) roadway projects. The types of projects include RRR Pavement Only Projects, Ride Only, SMART, Reconstruction and Safety. 
 

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Effectively negotiate, plan, monitor and deliver quality projects and consulting services
• Knowledge of FDOT design standards, specifications, Basis of Estimates and Designer Interface.
• Planning, organizing, and supervising the work of other transportation professionals
• Lead roadway plans preparation and development efforts
• Direct roadway design engineering projects including signalization and signing and pavement markings
• Ability to work in OpenRoads and 3D Engineering Modeling software
• Understanding of FDOT’s QC compliance criteria
• Understanding of FDOT’s EQR
• Experience developing, negotiating, and managing scopes, schedules, and budgets

 

What your experience looks like

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 15 years related experience
• Demonstrated experience leading the production and final delivery of FDOT CADD deliverables, managing schedule and budget, and maintaining high quality work products.
