As our new Construction Project Manager, you will be part of our Advanced Manufacturing Project Management team working on projects throughout the United States. you may be asked to work on specific projects throughout the US. Home location can be flexible but must have ability to travel to and spend extended periods at job sites.. The first project you will manage will be in the state of West Virginia. Tasks and Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules, and oversees other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities.
- Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at start of project to review job specific issues (schedules, health & safety issues, subcontractor coordination, etc.). Assign roles and responsibilities for field activities in accordance with the company practices.
- Actively works with the Project Manager in the management of the overall project construction scope schedule and budget
- Responsible for leadership of the on-site project team management
- Responsible for overall subcontractor contract management in coordination with the Project Manager
- Leads team with the change orders process including proper notification, supporting data gathering/organization development for Project Manager review and processing.
- Participates actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.
- Collaborates with Project Manager in the development and modification to the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Provide updates to the Project Manager in accordance with the PEP as it relates to cost, schedule, and client management.
- Estimates cost of materials, labor, and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project.
- As the primary on-site interface with clients during the construction phase of theproject, obtaining client feedback and maintaining client relationships is akey element of your responsibilities
- Manages the execution of the commissioning and closeout processes.
- Adheres to the policies and standards set forth in our quality management practices.

- 20 + years experience in a construction related field managing industrial engineering and construction projects.
- At least a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Advanced leadership skills with managing large teams with many moving parts.
- Ability to read plans/drawings/specifications and interpret data.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge and familiarity with Project Scheduling and Job Costing.
- Construction sequencing and planning, construction scheduling/durations, safety planning, means and methods.
- Travel required (75-100%)
- The physical requirements of this position may include the need for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing/sitting/walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. In certain situations, this position may expose the candidate to extremes in weather (hot/cold); high noise levels, to hazards such as a proximity to moving machine parts and moving vehicles, electrical current and exposure to chemicals.
