Job Title: Sr Allocator, Men’s & Women’s Lifestyle
Primary Purpose:
The Senior Allocator is responsible for effectively managing inventory levels to support Coach’s overall North American Retail sales and inventory plans. The Allocation team is highly collaborative and partners closely with a variety of cross functional teams. This is a great opportunity for an individual with outstanding analytical and communication skills, who is strategic, motivated and systems-savvy.

- Effectively utilize appropriate allocation strategies to impact the financial success of selected departments
- Continuously analyze and manage inventory levels at both distribution and store levels.
- Work closely with Buying Partners to clearly communicate allocation strategies, understand Buying strategies, and ensure alignment with cross-functional partners
- Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency and accuracy of information, share best practices and maximize systems knowledge
- Recommend seasonal buy investment strategies to influence inventory levels based on channel performance and tiering strategies
- Perform door and distribution analysis to influence current and forward-looking business
The accomplished individual will possess...
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2-4 years of allocation experience
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and retail math required
- Passion for data analysis and driving growth and innovation
- Experience managing sized categories and understanding importance of optimizing inventory
- Strong forward strategic thinking and outstanding analytical/quantitative skills with ability to manage large amounts of data to leverage Alteryx recommendations
- Ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize and adapt to fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
- Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively interact with team members and cross functional and field partners at all levels
- A keen attention to detail and a drive to finish tasks accurately and efficiently
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Problem solving mindset and uses critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
- Ability to work independently and own end to end process with minimal supervision
