The Role

At Block, our mission on the Executive Operations team is to amplify the impact of executives and their teams. We are looking for an innovative, trustworthy, reliable individual with a passion for supporting multiple executives and their respective teams. Our Administrative Business Partners specialize in administrative excellence in calendaring, booking travel, expense management, and being able to adeptly manage those tasks for multiple leaders. You will join the Executive Operations Team, supporting teams focused on multiple aspects of the business. We are looking for an individual who is thorough, detail-oriented, agile, thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys working with a variety of people on a daily basis, embraces change, and executes with a high level of integrity and discretion in this energetic and human-centric environment.

You Will

  • Provide administrative support for up to 4 executives..
  • Proactively manage the executives' calendars, travel bookings, and expenses.
  • Provide administrative support to Product Leaders. Responsibilities include maintaining complex calendars, requiring coordination with executives, partners, and other members of the Executive Operations Team.
  • Maximize your executives' time by effectively managing their calendars and providing an analysis of how time is spent. You will work with the team's Executive Business Partners (EBP) and Administrative Business Partners (ABP) to make suggestions on how to optimize time and efficiency.
  • Work within our centralized Executive Operations team to provide coverage for other executives as needed, take on team based projects, and provide inputs and suggestions to enhance the team as a whole.

You Have

  • 3+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Administrative Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, Executive Assistant, or similar role; ideally within large scale technology companies
  • Maintains the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct
  • High confidence with setting and maintaining boundaries within executive partnerships
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • High confidence with setting and maintaining boundaries within executive partnerships
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, including Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides
  • Confidence in leveraging AI tools to enhance administrative productivity and executive support

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
